OUTSTANDING COMPANY
AWARD RECIPIENT
EY Ireland
EY Ireland was awarded Outstanding Company at the GALAS, partly in recognition of the organisation’s Unity employee resource group. Established in 2011 by EY Global Financial Crime, Ethics & Compliance Leader Catherine Vaughan, the Unity ERG reflects the company’s dedication to serving marginalised communities.
On stage at the ceremony, an EY Ireland spokesperson said: “We’re all so glad to be here tonight to accept this award. On behalf of everyone at EY, we’d like to thank the National LGBT Federation, GCN magazine, and all the sponsors for the GALAS.
“I believe that this award is a testament to the work we’ve done to create an environment where [diversity, inclusion and authenticity] are possible, and is also a beacon to hopefully continue on that journey,” the EY spokesperson continued. “We all need to stand together to make a difference in the broader community.”
