UNSCENE 'N' HERD
This month sees the launch of a new live music monthly club night for queers and their pals in Dublin, called Unscene.
Organisers Ailbhe Reddy and Dwanye Woods say Unscene was inspired by a lack of live music nights for the LGBT+ community. “There are some amazing and very successful club nights running in Dublin, which is fantastic, but we want to cater for those who might like to attend a live music event and check out some local talent,” says Woods.
The first in the planned series of live events will see performances from Sylk (pictured), Maija Sofia, St Bishop, as well as DJ sets from Tears for Queers (an initiative set up to entice queer music lovers who might not be the most confident DJs to get behind the decks and go for it).
Unscene launches March 15, The Underground Venue, Dublin. Tickets are €8 via Eventbrite or €10 on the door
