OUTSTANDING SMALL BUSINESS
AWARD RECIPIENT
Certified Proud
Certified Proud works with organisations across Ireland to create safer and more inclusive workplace environments for LGBTQ+ people. Through training, consultancy and guidance, it helps businesses and services improve inclusion for LGBTQ+ employees and customers, while its membership model also supports LGBTQ+ charities and community organisations.
Accepting the award, the team highlighted the importance of maintaining accountability throughout the entire year rather than allowing LGBTQ+ inclusion to become something businesses focus on only during Pride Month. The award recognises a model of inclusion that aims to turn corporate support into ongoing investment in the LGBTQ+ community.
