Take It To The Front

Alongside David Gough, Valerie Mulcahy and the Emerald Warriors, one of the shortlisted nominees for the GALAS Sports Award is running club Dublin Frontrunners. A club for gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans runners and their friends, they welcome runners of all abilities, whether beginners or experienced, recreational or competitive.

While we’re just in the early stages of the new year, there’s still lots of time to keep those resolutions, get fiand make some new friends, so why not join them for a jog? You just missed the New Member run on the first Saturday in January, (they also have New Member runs in April, July and October) but you can still join them at any of their regular runs on a Saturday in the Phoenix Park, Dublin.

Ideally you should be able to run between 5k and 10k (or you can join their walking division), and it’s best to arrive ten minutes before their start time of 10am. Let them know if you are considering coming along and they can keep an eye out for you.
