EVENT OF THE YEAR
AWARD RECIPIENT
Dublin Dyke March 2026
Dublin Dyke March returned for a second year in 2026, bringing over 1,000 people to the Irish capital to march in solidarity with the dyke community. Under the theme ‘Resist and Persist’, participants reclaimed the streets to oppose war and genocide, counter the far-right, fight for same-sex parents’ rights, and advocate for a fit-for-purpose trans healthcare system.
Addressing the audience at The GALAS, the team said, “It’s imperative that we all continue to fight for our queer and other marginalised communities, and to organise our collective anger and exercise our right to protest... We can’t become complacent.” They added: “There would be no Dyke March without the thousands of dykes and dyke lovers who came. We share this award with all of you.”
