Mine would be ‘If Music Be the Food of Love’ by The King’s Singers. I can’t think of a more beautiful song to be wheeled around the dancefloor by the nursing staff home to.

A medley of Beyoncé songs à la Queen Bey’s Superbowl 2013 performance, complete with a perfectly choreographed routine and back-up dancers.

LISA

‘Maps’ by The Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Mother DJ, Ruth Kavanagh plays it for Sarah and I when we’re out dancing and calls it our song. It’s a pretty epic track, so if we ever do have a first dance, this would have to be it.

CATHERINE

I’m not planning on getting married so a first dance song isn’t something I’ve thought about but I’ll choose Lynyrd Skynyrd ‘Free Bird’ because I like the sentiment.

‘You and I’ by Ingrid Michaelson. When my fiancé and I were first together, whoever would wake up first in the morning would play it to wake the other one up. It’s definitely our song and holds a special place in our hearts.
