Taylor Swift

Might Be a Neo-Nazi

I discovered this thanks to Taylor’s own legal team, who tried to shut down an online article about how the Far-Right loves Taylor and her (apparently) ‘racist’ music. Dumb move, lawyers – because now everyone is talking about it. Everyone except Taylor, that is. Hmmm. You’d think that someone who takes to Twitter to angrily deny that she’s copying Beyoncé would have no problem tweeting that she’s not a White Supremacist.

Katy Perry

is chop suey in China

Katy Perry has been banned indefinitely from China. She recently applied for a visa so she could perform at the annual Victoria Secret fashion show in Shanghai – but the Chinese said “Swish swish bish,” and she’s not getting in. This is huge. I think it’s the first time I’ve seen the Chinese government step in to prevent a human rights violation. rst time I’ve seen the Chinese government step in to prevent a human rights violation.

Rita Ora

has a great face for radio

Rita Ora has had a few big hits, but she’s not as recognisable as she seems to think she is. She showed up on The Voice in Germany recently to ‘fool’ the judges by pretending to audition for the TV show, performing her current hit ‘Your Song’.

In fairness, she got all four judges to turn their chairs around, but they clearly had no clue who she was. Poor Rita was mortified when the judges told her it was a pretty decent cover and then asked her for her name. They might know your song Rita, but they don’t know your face!

Princess Beatrice

needs a new hat

Princess Beatrice of Fergie came out of hiding recently to speak out against bullying. She’s been keeping a low profile since she was mercilessly mocked over that Philip Treacy hat she wore to Will and Kate’s royal wedding.

It’s tough being a princess in the public eye and poor Bea revealed that she has battled with weight all her life. She probably means all those heavy hats and tiaras she has to wear.

Panti

is on Vietnam-easy Street

Anyone who makes the enemies Panti does must be doing something right. But I can’t help feeling that her last bit of controversy could have been easily avoided. Her recent trip to Vietnam aimed to draw attention to the good work Irish Aid does over there… and it certainly worked!

Panti, who recently tried to ignore her 49th birthday, got loads of media coverage, including an entire programme from Joe Duffy on the RTÉ radio. I bet the organisers of the trip were thrilled! But I’m pretty sure the invitation asked for an “Asian drag queen” – not an aging drag queen.
