From Our Board

This month, we would like to take the opportunity to say “Míle Buíochas” to Brian Finnegan, who is leaving GCN after 16 years of dedicated service to GCN and the community that it serves. GCN has provided a voice and a connection for LGBT people in Ireland and abroad for over 30 years, and Brian has been instrumental in representing our diverse range of issues and viewpoints, and in steering GCN through many challenges and changes.

Thank you Brian for growing GCN to what it is today. As Ireland has gone through momentous change, GCN has evolved, so that last year we celebrated GCN30 with a redesign and an award-winning digital product. More people are connected by GCN than ever before and it is a crucial resource for all groups in our community.

Brian, you have been integral to the success of GCN and to the advances we have made as a country over your tenure. We wish you the very best for the future.
