NOEL WALSH HIV ACTIVISM AWARD
AWARD RECIPIENT
Poz Vibe Podcast
This year’s Noel Walsh HIV Activism Award was presented to the Poz Vibe Podcast, hosted by Robbie Lawlor and Veda Lady. Poz Vibe Podcast is a show for people living with HIV, their friends, family and allies. For the last year, they have affected positive change over the airwaves for those living with the disease, offering a safe place for HIVIPs to share their stories.
During their acceptance speech, Veda shared, “This award makes me so proud because we put an awful lot of love into what we do. Because what we have is love for people in our community, for those who are visible and those who are invisible. This award is for all of you. So thank you, stay positive!”
