Songs of Praise

The festive season is upon us! And what better way to get in the spirit than at the 21st annual LGBT Christmas Carol Service?

Treat yourself and your loved ones to a musical extravaganza on Saturday, December 14 at 8pm in the Unitarian Church at St Stephen’s Green, D 2.

LGBT+ folk, their families, friends and colleagues, are most warmly welcomed to an evening of beautiful song and pure entertainment.

As well as the wonderful music, a special guest speaker will add their dulcet tones to the proceedings. Over the years, the past speakers at the event give a perfect example of how broad a welcome the service offers to both people of faith and non-religious folk alike. Guest speakers have included such luminaries as Ailbhe Smyth, Ursula Halligan, Colm O’Gorman and Moninne Griffith, and, for this year’s service, the amazing Colin Flynn of Cara-Friend and LGBT Switchboard in Belfast will be present.

After enjoying the carol service, listeners are welcome to stay on for some warming mulled wine and delicious mince pies.

No Christmas season is complete without carols, so for pure musical joy, make a beeline for the Unitarian Church.
