The fine folk at the recently launched Outcomers Drogheda have announced a new drop-in service for LGBT+ people in the Drogheda area. Happening on the last Thursday of every month those in need can access a safe space providing support and a referral and social service.

The drop-in will take place from 7-9pm in The Workspace Centre, Mayorality Street, Drogheda. Outcomers Drogheda is a much-needed service for the LGBT+ community. At its launch, Paula Fagan, the CEO of LGBT Ireland, touched upon the value of decentralised LGBT+ safe spaces throughout the country: “Since the Marriage Equality Referendum in 2015, still there’s only a handful of services around the country that are in people’s communities where they can go to…now people in Drogheda, they don’t need to leave the town anymore.”

For more information on both the service and Outcomers itself, contact them by email at outcomersdrogheda@gmail.com or by phone at 0872379893.

Follow them on social media on Facebook at Outcomers Drogheda and on Twitter at @OutcomersDrog
