A New Sensation

Taking over the grounds of the Royal Hospital Kilmainham in Dublin on August 17 and 18, the two-day music and arts festival aimed at the LGBT+ community and their many friends.

So who can we expect to see?

The incredible list of acts topping the bill on the main stage across the weekend include the incomparable Lily Allen, the insanely great Clean Bandit, the unmissable Gossip and the one and only Kelis! We know, right?

And who else could host a main stage heaving with those heavyweights? There really is only one woman for the job – step forward Panti Bliss!

Alongside main stage antics, expect tons of surprises from The George Stage, and a Mother Dance Tent you won’t want to leave.

The weekend will also see a jaw-dropping set of performances from acts and DJs such as Honey Dijon, Soulé, Le Galaxie, Daithí, Horse Meat Disco, Andy Butler (Hercules & Love Affair).

Oh, did you think that was all? Well, take a deep breath – you can also brace yourself for Jenny Greene, Sink The Pink DJs, Bukkake DJs Elm, Toucan, Prymary Colours, Raw Silk, Miss Kate, Karen Reddy, Stephen Dowling, Conor Behan and the hilarious antics of Sing Along Social.

‘But what sets this apart from other music festivals?’ you may ask. We’ll point you again towards that amazing line-up, letting that sink in, before telling you of the tsunami of legendary drag queens ready to death-drop and run riot across the festival.

Some of Ireland’s greatest drag stars will put on a show to end all shows, including the iconic Shirley Temple Bar, the unstoppable Phil T Gorgeous, Veda’s Coven, Dolly Grip, Regina George, Davina Devine, Pixie Woo, Paul Ryder, Faux Joli, Chanel, Mizza, Sophia Harte and Anziety and limber up for spot of Drag Aerobics with no less than Bunny herself.

Prepare to be gagged as Dragged Up and Victoria’s Secret haul from across the ocean a host of the finest queens ever to grace RuPaul’s legendary show for your delectation. Yes, gawd! Prepare for All Stars 4 winner Monet X Change alongside classic queens Naomi Smalls, Jujubee, Laganja Estranja and Sonique!

Love Sensation promoter and co-founder of Mother, Cormac Cashman, said, “Love Sensation feels like a natural progression for us. We’ve wanted to run a music festival for years, something that caters to our community and focuses on inclusivity, fun, good music, good times and sound people. We’ve been lucky enough to have amazing success with our Pride Block Party so 2019 feels right for us to grow even bigger and launch our very own music Festival!”
