Future Forward

Dublin’s Science Gallery recently launched their Intimacy exhibition. It examines the science and art of connection between humans through a thrilling mix of technology, neuroscience, art, behaviour, belief and trust.

Over the following months, the building will be the go-to place for a series of invigorating events and discussions. The one which yours truly is most looking forward to is GCN’s take over on November 9 for a night celebrating LGBT+ youth.

Together with a host of incredible and inspiring collaborators, we will be creating a safe space where LGBT+ youth can come meet, share, and explore the topics of intimacy and how we can all get a little bit closer in real life, regardless of your preference.

The awesome Science Of The Kiss photography exhibition by Babs Daly featuring young people from across the spectrum of our community (check out our exclusive preview further in these pages) will be on display, pride of place.

Seamus Quinn will host icebreaker workshops around the theme of trust and there will be tea and chats with BeLonG To and The LadyBirds, both also featured in this special edition of the magazine.

Queer youth and their allies can expect lively discussions and top notch entertainment at a night curated for and devoted to them.

GCN takes over the Science Gallery on November 9 from 6pm, visit dublin.sciencegallery.com for more details.
